What to post over a season: a month-by-month plan for your Passport
A Passport with twenty clips from the same month and nothing after is a common sight. Scouts notice it. A profile that grows steadily through the season says more than any single highlight. Here is a rhythm you can follow.
Pre-season: set the base
Before the first match, make sure the basics are in place. Position, club, age group, a clear profile photo. Post one clip from training that shows your main strength: first touch, speed, heading, whatever it is. This is the clip a scout sees first, so make it count.
First months: one match moment a week
When the season starts, settle into a simple habit. Each week, pick the best thing you did and post that. Not three clips. One. If the week was poor, skip it. Honesty is better than filler. With a Basic plan you have one video a week, which is exactly this rhythm. Pro gives you up to five, which is useful in busy periods, not a target to hit.
Mid-season: show variety
By December or January, look at your Passport as if you were a stranger. Are all the clips the same type of action? If every video is a goal, add a defensive moment, a long pass, a recovery run. Scouts want a complete picture, not a reel of your favourite move.
Winter: use training
Matches are rarer in winter in many countries. Training clips fill the gap well. A clean technical exercise, filmed from the side, can show things a match never does.
Spring: your best football
Most players hit form in the second half of the season. This is where your strongest clips usually come from. Keep the weekly rhythm. If you played a tournament, post one or two clips from it, not the whole event.
End of season: tidy up
Go through the Passport with a parent or a coach. Remove clips that no longer show how you play. If you are under 18, your parent can delete videos from their parent area. Leave a profile that someone can watch in five minutes and understand.
Watch the counter
Every time a verified scout watches a video, the scout counter goes up. Look at which clips get watched. That tells you what professionals find useful, and it is better feedback than likes.
Keep it steady
The goal is not volume. The goal is a Passport that a scout can trust, because it shows a whole season and not one good afternoon.
