# Certified parent consent: what is recorded and why

When a parent approves a video of a player under 18, Go2Pro records that approval as certified consent. The record is written on a blockchain through LutinX, so nobody can change it later and it can always be checked.

## What is recorded

- A protected code for the parent and one for the player. These codes are pseudonymised, which means they can't be turned back into a name.
- The video's identifier and a digital fingerprint of the file.
- The decision (approved or refused), the date and time, and the version of the consent text.

## What is never written on the blockchain

- The video itself.
- Names, email addresses or phone numbers.
- Identity documents from the LutinX check.

## Why we do it

A family can prove at any moment that a video went online with their approval. Clubs and scouts know that every video of a minor on Go2Pro was approved by a verified parent.

## If you change your mind

You can block or delete a video whenever you want. The consent record stays as proof of the decision taken at that moment. It contains no personal data and no copy of the video.
