Putting a child online is a serious decision. Before you say yes to a football Passport, you should know exactly who sees what. This guide lays it out, without jargon.

What a scout can see

A verified scout who opens your child’s Passport sees the football side: first name, age group, position, club and the videos you approved. That is the material a scout needs to judge a player. It is also all they need.

What a scout cannot see

Players under 18 show only their first name. There is no surname on the public profile. There is no phone number and no email address. Scouts cannot message your child. If they want to get in touch, they contact you, the linked parent, and only after their own identity has been verified.

Nothing goes online without you

When your child uploads a video, it does not publish straight away. It waits for you. You get a request in your parent area, you watch the clip, and you approve it or refuse it. Your approval is recorded as certified consent. You can also block or delete any video later, even one you approved last month.

Who confirms identities

Every account signs in with LutinX ID. Scouts and professionals verify their identity there before they can contact a family. Parents link to a child’s account with a 6-digit PIN. This is what keeps strangers out of the conversation.

A few habits worth keeping

Check the video before you approve it. Make sure the clip shows football, not your home, your car or a street sign. Use your child’s first name only, as the app does. If a message from a “scout” arrives outside the app, by phone or on social media, treat it with care. Real contact on Go2Pro always comes through the app, from a verified professional, to you.
