A 15-minute parents’ evening: how to present Go2Pro to families

Parents’ evenings at a club are short and crowded. You will not get an hour. You might get fifteen minutes between the kit order and the tournament dates. That is enough, if you plan it. Here is a script that works.

Minute 0 to 2: why you are here

Introduce yourself in one sentence. Say which club or area you work with and that you are a Go2Pro partner. Then say the one thing parents care about: “This is a way for your child to be seen by verified scouts, safely, with you in control.” Stop there. Do not list features.

Minute 2 to 6: show, do not describe

Open the G2P app on your phone and show a real Passport. Point at three things. The first name only. The videos, each one approved by a parent before it went online. The scout counter, which shows when a verified professional has watched a clip. Parents understand it when they see it.

Minute 6 to 9: the safety part

This is where parents lean in. Say it plainly:

  • Players under 18 show only their first name.
  • A parent links to the child’s account with a 6-digit PIN and approves every video.
  • Scouts are verified with LutinX ID before they can contact anyone.
  • Scouts never message a minor. They write to the parent, inside the app.

Then say that the parent can block or delete any video at any time. That sentence alone answers half the worries in the room.

Minute 9 to 12: what it costs

Be honest and short. The Passport is free. There is a 14-day trial for videos. After that, keeping uploads going needs a yearly plan, Basic or Pro, and the price is shown in the app before paying. If your club has a discount code, say so now and hand it out. Do not quote prices from memory.

Minute 12 to 15: questions

You will get these. Prepare answers.

  • “Does a scout really look?” Verified professionals use the platform, and the counter shows when they watch.
  • “What if we want to stop?” The parent can delete videos. The Passport can simply stay unused.
  • “Is this an agent?” No. Go2Pro is a platform. It does not represent players.

Leave something behind

Give parents your presentation code and the address guide.go2pro.io. The code links families you introduce to you, so you can support them locally. Do not collect phone numbers on a sheet. Let the families come to you.

After the evening

Send the coach a short thank-you. Offer to come back when the first Passports are online. The second visit, when parents have questions from real use, is where most of the value is.
