Why verification works in your favour
Before you can contact a family on Go2Pro, you verify your identity with LutinX ID. Some professionals see this as a hurdle. It is the opposite: it is what makes families answer.
What families see
- That your identity has been verified.
- Your professional profile: club, role, the area and age groups you work with.
- Your view on their child’s video, counted in the scout counter, separate from views by players and parents.
A parent who gets a message from a verified professional, with a complete profile, knows who they are dealing with. That is rare, and it is why the reply rate is higher.
What verification protects you from
Families receive approaches from people who are not who they say they are. Verification keeps you out of that pile. Your name is not confused with someone else’s, and your club is not associated with messages you never sent.
Make your profile complete
A verified profile with an empty bio still looks anonymous. Add your club, your role, the age groups you follow and the area you cover. If you work with an academy or a federation, say so.
The rules, in short
- You contact parents of players under 18, never the players.
- You use the data a family shares only for the purpose they shared it for.
- You can watch videos, save players to follow and contact families. You cannot download videos or share a minor’s profile outside the platform.
